dedicated volunteers, we ensured that 100% of every dollar donated was used for direct aid, as we operate
with zero administrative costs.
Over the financial year, we received $26,274 AUD in donations and spent $20,500 across 12 impactful
projects. We extend special thanks to our incredible project manager and our many valued contacts in
Vietnam for their support.

2024
During the 2024 financial year we carried out projects across Vietnam, with a focus on the Central Highland provinces of Kontum and Gia Lai, where the Ba Na and J’rai peoples reside. We partnered with university student groups and other volunteers. 100% of every dollar donated went to direct assistance in Vietnam, because we have $0 admin cost. Our project manager and Vietnam contacts were essential to success.
This financial year, donation income was $18,945.84 and we spent $19,500 AUD on 16 projects.

2023
During the 2023 financial year we carried out a wide range of projects. Projects partnered with students and other volunteer groups provided engagement with charity work in orphanages and disadvantaged families, particularly in highland tribes. 100% of every dollar donated went to direct assistance in Vietnam, because we have $0 admin cost.
This financial year, donation income was $20,040. We spent $20,000 AUD on 18 projects, varying in size from $250 to $6,550. As in past years, our project manager and partners in Vietnam were essential to the success of the projects.
2022
During the 2022 financial year we carried out a wide range of projects. Projects partnered with students and other volunteer groups provided engagement with charity work in orphanages and disadvantaged families, particularly in highland tribes. 100% of every dollar donated went to direct assistance in Vietnam, because we have $0 admin cost.
This financial year, donation income was $14,553. We spent half a billion Vietnam Dong ($30,000 AUD) on projects summarised below. As in past years, our project manager and partners in Vietnam were essential to the success of the projects.
2021
During the 2021 financial year we carried out a wide range of projects. This included encouraging children to attend school, aid to villages with leprosy, and assistance to households disadvantaged by the epidemic.
Projects partnered with student volunteer groups were especially successful. These provided on-the-ground assistance to orphanages and the poor in both urban and mountain indigenous communities. 100% of every dollar donated went to direct assistance in Vietnam, because we have $0 admin cost.
This financial year, donation income was $54,273. This included a one-off donation cheque of $30,000 from David Penalver as his last dying wish. It provided funds for us to operate for 18 months. We spent $20,824 of these funds on projects summarised below. All of this financial year’s projects were planned and carried out by our project manager and partners in Vietnam in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020
During the 2020 financial year we carried out a wide range of projects. This included encouraging children to attend school, medicines for a group of orphanages, and provisions to disadvantaged families.
The free range livestock and tree planting projects were outstandingly successful. These raised household income for disadvantaged families in poorer, mainly indigenous communities.

This included encouraging children to attend school, an electric wheelchair, medicines for a group of orphanages, and provisions to disadvantaged families. Free range livestock projects to raise household income were in the Central highlands, Phong Nha, Ha Tinh and a leper colony in Nghe An. As is our rule, 100% of every dollar donated went to direct assistance in Vietnam, because we have $0 admin cost.
2016
During the 2016 financial year we paid for an orphanage library, music training equipment, tertiary study fees, medicines, a computer for a clinic doctor, surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, food, a holiday for children, orphanage farming and nutrition, home visits by youth groups and food supplies for households in a leper colony. We spent $12,450 of the funds provided by our donors. The funds were either personally administered or administered by a helper network.
2015
During the 2015 financial year we paid for projects to encourage children to attend school, provided shoes, medicines and baby formula to orphanages. We spent $11,270 of the funds provided by our donors. The funds were either personally administered or administered by a helper network.
2014
During the 2014 financial year we made improvements to orphanages and a community kitchen, assisted two households of nuns in tertiary study, improved water supply to a fishing village, and provided help to one indigenous village.
